Croatian State Lottery (Hrvatska Lutrija) officials has announced that they are going to release new style of games including keno and scratch cards available for online casino and mobile phone casino.

On January 24, The Croatian State Lottery announced the renewal of the contract with Intralot Interactive, an online and mobile casino software provider. It has been stated that Intralot Interactive will going to develop a new series of online and mobile casino software for the government controlled lottery websites. Passengers Caught Gambling Online To Be Fined

Commuters who while away time playing casinos online may have to deal with something more than nosy passengers as Utah implements stricter measures to control gambling by wireless means.

The Utah Transit Authority has announced that, aside form using filters to prevent passengers from accessing online casino through wireless devices, they will now send in officers to ride in buses and monitor passengers who may be trying to access such sites. Those caught playing are subject to a ticket and a fine, much like that of a traffic violation.

According to UTA spokesman Gerry Carpenter, the officer will be given a judgment call to determine whether the one caught is in fact liable for violation. The offender will be fined $300 if caught.

The UTA currently uses a filter to block undesirable content such as casinos and pornographic material. The filter is also regularly updated to ensure that the protection provided is indeed up to date. However, he says that there are still sites that managed to evade the filter. To ensure that the law will be enforced, he added that officers are needed to constantly monitor them.

Carpenter, however, said that the move is necessary. He said that many children also ride the bus and that they can be easily exposed to such unwanted material because of passengers' carelessness.
